DANCE ON TOUR AUSTRIA (DOTA) - program wsparcia dla artystek i artystów choreografii i tańca z Austrii występujących w Polsce, będzie kontynuowany w 2019 roku.
DOTA jest programem austriackiego Federalnego Ministerstwa Europy, Integracji i Spraw Międzynarodowych a jego wykonawcą jest wiedeński Tanzquartier.
W tegorocznej edycji programu, rozpoczętej w lipcu 2018, przyznano dofinansowanie ośmiu projektów, w tym dwóch z Polski.
W programie DOTA o wsparcie starać mogą się zarówno same artystki i artyści zaproszeni do Polski, jak również instytucje zapraszające.
O wsparcie można starać się najpóźniej na 3 tygodnie przed datą występu, ale warto zrobić to jak najwcześniej.

What is DANCE ON TOUR Austria (DOTA)?
DANCE ON TOUR Austria is a project by Tanzquartier Wien and in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs. DANCE ON TOUR Austria offers financial support to contemporary dance and performance artists and companies based in Austria who wish to go on tour with their production.
Who is it for?
Only artists and companies based in Austria are eligible for funding. Artists and companies based in Austria as well as foreign promoters can submit applications.
Which countries are involved?
Support is available in the following European countries: Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, Croatia, Rumania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine and Belarus
How do you apply for DOTA funding?
The applicant needs to submit the application form (for artists or promoters respectively) to apply for DOTA funding. In case of a successful application, the applicant will need to sign a contract by which they comply with all terms and conditions of the billing and report agreements.
When to apply for funding?
Applications are open now. For guest performances taking place from 1 January to 31 December 2019, the application has to be filed no later than three weeks prior to the scheduled event date.
What are the criteria for the selection process?
Applications will regularly be selected by three independent jury members. Jury members are Angela Glechner, Bettina Hagen and Astrid Peterle.
DOTA's objectives:
DOTA's objective is to support and improve conditions for touring productions in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. TQW will take on all administrative tasks concerning the project and will act as intermediary between all applicants and the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
When will results be released?
All successful applicants who receive funding will be contacted directly by TQW.
